I feel nervous, where do I start?
The first step is a complimentary half hour pre shoot phone brainstorm session where Shae takes you through everything involved. You will know exactly what to expect and everything that needs to be organised will be covered.
I don't know how to pose & I never look good in photos, does Shae tell me what to do?
Yes Shae poses you from head to toe and helps with expression. Shae has a wonderful natural sense of humour and will often make you laugh at her capturing your genuine expressions and laughter. This is why the photos in her gallery look so natural as the people are engaging with Shae the whole time. Unless you’re a model or actor, no one knows how to bring on an expression naturally so rest assured you are guided every step of the way.
How much does it cost?
There are 3 packages $1300+gst for 10 photos, $2000+gst for 20 photos & $2900+gst for 35 photos. The package depends on how many images you need for your website & social media profiles/banner & whether you’d like photos for content. The makeup is $150+gst per person.
Do you also do the makeup?
Yes I do up to 2 makeups and if more than 2 people, I bring in Sam from Blake Makeup Designs. I have completed around 80% of the makeups in the photos on this website. My preference is ‘less is more’ opting for a more natural look.
How far will you travel?
Anywhere between Byron Bay & Brisbane. For areas outside of the Gold Coast, the travel fee is $50.
How long does it take?
The makeup/hairstyling is one hour and the photo shoot is anywhere from 2 hours to 4 hours max. Any more than 4 hours and my clients become exhausted.
Does it cost extra to have more people in the photo shoot?
No it doesn’t cost any extra unless they want makeup.
How long does it take to get the photos once the photo shoot is over?
Approximately 2 weeks.
