Really enjoying shooting through glass utilising reflections lately. Just gives the shot a bit more interest and gives the viewer the feeling of walking past an office and seeing the activity inside. This image is giving a ‘team working in action’ vibe to personalise a company’s ‘About Us’ website page.

In order to achieve the soft reflective expression in someone’s eyes that isn’t used to modelling or acting, I will often say pretend you are looking outside at children playfully running in a field. This guidance ensures a soft expression to match a soft pose, otherwise if the eyes are looking too nervous about being in front of a camera, the image won’t work as effectively. Make sure you get your videographers to also apply this technique of guiding you, as often people will feel so nervous infront of a camera that the audience thinks they are nervous about their business. Instead it’s just that you feel like a deer in the headlights. So to look confident in your marketing, make sure you always get guidance as not many people know how to act, or what to think of without direction ☺️

The minute I met @brookedean.quproperty , I couldn’t help but love her to bits because she reminded me so much of my younger self with her drive & determination & not taking no for an answer. She waited for me for ages for her photo shoot and when I told her I’d hit burnout and needed time off, she offered to pay double or to drive to the GC to save me travel etc. It warmed my heart as she knew what she wanted and fought for it which is the same as me. It took all my energy to drive to Brissy for her important shoot of her new agency, but sure enough I got into autopilot and into my zone and we captured beautiful images for her marketing….Makeup/hairstyling/photography by mwah

Ever since I studied photography in 1997, I have always favoured black & white. It takes the distraction of colour away and shows what’s really going on in an image. It portrays the mood more clearly. In this image I love portraying the quiet moments of team work at a property before the public arrive, with the dog just cruising around, whist the ladies prepare… Makeup, hairstyling and photography by mwah for the beautiful @brookedean.quproperty

I just saw this shot of mine by accident & ADORE how the designer pops the image with the splash of yellow whilst also tying in the awesome geometric necklace to the background geometric design. Look soooooo effective so I had to share! 🤩
