Really enjoying sage colour in photos atm. Soft and approachable and earthy but flexible in various scenes. I have shot this lovely lady every year since 2019 and very grateful for those who wait for me whilst I’ve been unwell. Very rewarding to return the favour with stunning photos! 🙏💝💐

Really enjoying shooting through glass utilising reflections lately. Just gives the shot a bit more interest and gives the viewer the feeling of walking past an office and seeing the activity inside. This image is giving a ‘team working in action’ vibe to personalise a company’s ‘About Us’ website page.

In order to achieve the soft reflective expression in someone’s eyes that isn’t used to modelling or acting, I will often say pretend you are looking outside at children playfully running in a field. This guidance ensures a soft expression to match a soft pose, otherwise if the eyes are looking too  nervous about being in front of a camera, the image won’t work as effectively. Make sure you get your videographers to also apply this technique of guiding you, as often people will feel so nervous infront of a camera that the audience thinks they are nervous about their business. Instead it’s just that you feel like a deer in the headlights. So to look confident in your marketing, make sure you always get guidance as not many people know how to act, or what to think of without direction ☺️
